It just doesn’t get much better thanGoogle Chrome. The most popular web browser in the world, Chrome’s sleek and straightforward design makes it the number one choice of bloggers and others who spend the majority of their time online.
Other highlights of Google Chrome include its superior tab management system and quick install time. Yet what truly sets it apart from its competition is the vast number of compatible browser extensions.
There are literally hundreds of different extensions and apps available. Use these to customize and improve the Chrome browsing experience.
But which extensions are the best? The sheer number available can make finding the best ones difficult. We did some of the legwork by narrowing down the top 15 Google Chrome extensions for bloggers.
If you make your living by writing blog posts, checking out these top-notch browser extensions is a must!
  1. Grammarly
Grammarly is by far one of the best extensions for Chrome. The spelling and grammar app ensures you don’t make typos or grammatical errors. Best of all, it’s compatible with most online writing platforms including Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, and more.
  2. Block Site
Anyone that uses the Internet to make a living knows just how easy it is to waste valuable time surfing the web. Enter Block Site. The Chrome extension allows you to block certain websites that you know take up your time and eat into your productivity.
  3. Pocket
Pocket is a nifty little app that helps you save online content for later. It’s the winner of the 2015 Webby “Best Productivity App” award so you know it’s good. What we like most is that you don’t need an Internet connection to view saved content.
  4. Google Docs to WordPress
Perhaps the only thing we dislike about Google Docs is the lack of a built-in function that transfers content to your WordPress website. The Google Docs to WordPress extension fixes that. It allows you to transfer everything from Google Docs to WordPress with just one click.
  5. Gmail Offline
Few things are worse than trying to get work done without an Internet connection. Gmail Offline attempts to make the situation less painful. The extension allows you to read and respond to emails without an Internet connection. Each time your device does connect to the Internet, your emails are updated and synchronized.
  6. Google Dictionary
Come across a word that you don’t know? With Google Dictionary all that it takes to look up the definition is two clicks. Double click on the word you’re confused by and the definition automatically appears in an in-page pop-up.
  7. Google Publisher Toolbar
Google Publisher Toolbar makes viewing publishing data easy. The extension gives you an easy inside look at AdSense, Ad Exchange, DoubleClick and more. A single interface is used to make viewing this information even more effective and convenient.
  8. Google Keep
Just as its name implies, Google Keep helps you keep track of your thoughts. The Chrome extension allows you to seamlessly save notes, lists, photos, and so much more. A variety of tools are available to keep your thoughts better organized. Like most Google apps, Keep is compatible on all your devices.

  9. MozBar
MozBar is one of the best tools for bloggers concerned with SEO. Created by the brilliant minds over at Moz, the Chrome extension gives you immediate access to data like page authority, domain authority, and links on any website. All of the information is provided in-page for even easier consumption.
  10. Alexa Traffic Rank
Alexa Traffic Rank is similar to MozBar. The extension lets you see how popular any website in the world is. Another neat feature is one that shows you what the website looked like in the past.
  11. Open SEO Stats
Open SEO Stats (formerly PageRank Stats) takes the best aspects of MozBar, Alexa Traffic Rank, and other tools and combines them into one. It’s overall convenience and effectiveness makes it the most popular Google Chrome SEO extension. Important data it provides about websites you visit include backlinks, indexed pages, page speed, link stats, and so much more.
  12. LastPass
One of the simplest pieces of online security advice is to never use the same password for all your different accounts. Unfortunately, remembering dozens of passwords isn’t an easy thing to do. LastPass helps solve this problem with a unique platform designed to encrypt and store your passwords. It automatically enters them when you visit each website on a registered device.
  13. Readability
Despite containing quality information, some webpages are simply bogged down by poor design. The Readability extension crawls these pages, takes out unnecessary clutter, and then spits out a more readable version. Sidebars, popups, and social share buttons are the first to go.
  14. Writer
Bloggers are constantly looking for ways to increase their productivity. TheWriter browser extension helps you do just that with its simplistic writing platform. The online text editor is as minimalist as it comes. The lack of features makes it easier to get the words down without the temptation to fiddle around with settings.
  15. Bitly
Sharing links online is made easy with Bitly. The incredibly useful app shortens URLs to just a few characters. Those that use Twitter and similar websites know just how important this is to keep marketing messages short and concise.
These 15 Google Chrome extensions are the best of the best as far as we’re concerned. Yet they’re far from the only extensions available.
There are dozens more of great quality waiting to be discovered. The key is to find those that benefit you personally as a blogger and web user.

Oleh bcoded - September 21, 2016
First of all download this pdf file for your blog pinging and settings before you proceed further.   CLICK HEER

Popular bloggers get clicks and shares while your super-creative research stays unnoticed? Maybe you are missing something really important?

Well, today we are going to talk about seven most efficient user attractors to make your blog post winning. These powerful tricks based on human psychology will make your blog special!
So here we go!

#1: Surprise or a question in the headline

Surprises and questions in headlines stimulate human brains because they are signals of something new. Unexpected events grab our attention quicker than planned ones. The same is about questions – when we see a question at the beginning of the text, we subconsciously expect something to be revealed. In a word, both questions and surprising things put in headlines promise some unexpected and fresh experience. That is why such headlines do grab readers’ attention better than others.
For instance, let’s take a post from StudentShare’s blog. This blog is designed for college students and its content is focused on students’ needs, lifestyle, and interests. The post we have chosen has the following title: “What Should I Wear to Survive?” Really, what? If I were a student, I would definitely want to get an answer to this question.

#2: A small preview of the main message

Many bloggers do that, and we know that this trick works. This is a technique to actually get your readers prepared for something really amazing to happen right here and right now and they are about to become witnesses. Readers love that feeling when they are up to reveal a secret or learn an amazing tip.
This trick is simple: you give a small hint of what is going to happen, reasons why readers should care, and what will happen if they read it. If you have really amazing piece of content, and you know that it is helpful for the readers – go ahead.
Let’s take a look Brian Dean’s SEO blog. In his post called “201 Powerful SEO Tips (That Actually Work)” he writes

This is the largest collection of SEO tips on the planet. The best part? All of the SEO techniques in this guide are 100% actionable.

Well, you just can’t stop reading his post and walk away, right?

#3: Examples

Examples add clarity and authenticity to your content. Examples not only explain concepts but also clarify the central message you are trying to express. Many popular bloggers use examples to make sure that audience understands everything clearly. Besides examples build trust and explain the topic respectively. These three aspects will help you become closer to your audience and interact with them better.
Examples can be different, depending on what kind of post you are writing. You are free to add real-life stories, quotations from other authors, or something that a reader can use immediately, following the guide you give. Here is a post from WebDesignerWall. It is a tutorial on how to create animated background for a website. The best about this post is that it includes all the Java Scripts you need to create a background. So you can try it immediately.

#4: Storytelling

The amazing art of storytelling is something every blogger should master. When you have your style, passion, and knowledge to engage the audience, then you will reach your best. An ability to tell a story in the most appealing way makes readers feel that everything they are reading is happening just in front of their eyes. Have you ever noticed that language and style are everything in a blog posting? You can write a complete nonsense, but artistic style brings life to the most boring and useless stories.

#5: Screenshots

Screenshots attract readers. Why wouldn’t they? Screenshots help readers understand the point. If you visit the most popular blogs and top influential figures, you will see that most of them use screenshots for their posts because this strategy makes articles look more reliable and clear.
Some topics just cannot be explained clearly without screen shots. Let’s admit: it is impossible to explain how to use Google Analytics reports without giving enough screen shots.

#6: Solve readers’ problems

Become a problem solver for your audience. Share not only ideas, but also links, tools, apps, and resources. When you have some tools that help you in content creation, online marketing, and writing – tell everyone about them. Maybe you know a great tool for infographics making or screen shot taking?
In a word, if you have something that solves your problems, share it with your audience. They will love it! What is more, this will make you an authority. People will listen to you and follow your steps.

#7: Relevant articles

People rarely click on the related articles shown at the end of a blog post. Maybe, because they appear randomly, and there is nothing in common between the article they are reading and those that are offered automatically.
It is much more efficient to use related articles in the text of the blog post. This allows you to:
  • Give links to your previous content;
  • Make an internal blog linking;
  • Decrease chances for readers slip;
  • Help readers find related articles.
For example, in this blog post at HootSuite.com we can see some links that lead to previous articles located in this resources.

It is a good example of internal links used wisely. Remember that search engines love external and internal links and help this content become indexed.
Follow these tricks when creating your articles and you will attract more new users to your blog! If you have any other secret techniques to share – feel free to leave a comment!

I know that all WordPress users should have a local installation of WordPress on their PC. The benefits are numerous – you can test themes, plugins, and fiddle with a blog’s design without anyone seeing. It’s lightning quick.
There is no danger of being indexed by Google. You can even take a whole website, download it to a local WordPress installation, and play around with it to your heart’s content before uploading the changes.
But local installations of WordPress aren’t just for developers. For instance, I have an offline accountability blog that I use to keep track of my life goals. I have another local WordPress installation where I draft articles that I write for clients.
Whilst setting up a local WordPress website may instinctively feel like it would be a complicated process, in reality, it is not. Any competent PC user can have a local WordPress installation up and running within a few short minutes.

1. Download and Install Xampp

In order to install and run WordPress locally, you need to create a local server environment. Fortunately, this is easily done with a free piece of software called Xampp. You can download Xampp from this location – click on the “Installer” option:

Double click on the installation file once the download has been completed. You will be prompted to enter an installation directory:

It is recommended that you do not use the Program Files directory, because of potential write permissions issues.
Please note that the directory you choose at this stage will be where your local WordPress site’s files are located.
Proceed through the installation process – there is no need to adjust any of the default installation settings.
                                                    2. Set Up Xampp
Once the installation process has completed, load Xampp and Start the Apache and MySQL modules:
You may be presented with a security alert that looks something like this:
You need to select “Unblock”. Once you have done so, the local server environment should be up and running.
To check, open your browser and enter “http://localhost/” into the address bar. You should see something like this:

                                                    3. Create a Database

Every WordPress installation needs its own database, so before we install WordPress proper, we need to create one.
From the same screen where you Started the Apache and MySQL modules, select the MySQL Admin button. This will open up phpMyAdmin in a browser tab. Select the “Databases” tab – here you will create your database:

Obviously, your database name may not be “mytestsite” – it will be whatever you named your database in phpMyAdmin.
Once you’re done, save the file and rename it as “wp-config.php” (i.e. remove “-sample” from the filename).
The only thing left to do now is install WordPress using the 5 minute installation process (which in reality will take about 30 seconds).
Open up a fresh browser tab and navigate to “http://localhost/yoursitename/”, where “yoursitename” is the name of your WordPress site’s directory. You will be presented with a familiar screen:

Fill in the details, hit the “Install WordPress” button, and you’re done!
You are now the proud owner of an offline WordPress site:
You are now free to edit and add to the site in whatever way you see fit. You have access to all themes and plugins as you would do with a “normal” WordPress installation.
You can even add the site to your ManageWP account by using
port forwarding. Furthermore, you can create as many of these sites as you wish, just by repeating steps 3 and 4.
Enjoy!  drop your comments for help!!!

All You Need to Know About Verve Paycode - Cardless ATM Withdrawals and POS Payments

Oleh bcoded - September 18, 2016
Life is more simple and easy day by day as a result of technology and we need to stay up-to-date with new emerging technologies.

that there is a new way in Nigeria to withdraw your money from the ATM machine without your debit card being physically present. It sounded like a big joke at first but is reality.

You know how it feels when you urgently need cash, but your ATM card is at home; there’s money in your account, but you can’t withdraw it because you need an ATM card.

Nigeria’s largest payment processing company - Interswitch, has launched "Verve World", an app  which enables cardholders to store all their payment options and to carry out everyday transactions without physically using their cards. You can now withdraw the cash in your account without using an ATM card, all you need is a Verve Paycode.

Verve Paycode is a secure code that can be generated from cards stored in your eWallet (Verve eCash). Verve eWallet can securely store any card from any Bank.

Verve eCash is a virtual payment card that allows you to transact in every way you would with a physical card. With eCash, you no longer need card number, OTP, CVV2 or expiry date to complete your online transactions. Recharge, Pay bills, Transfer funds and even withdraw cash from an ATM or make POS payments directly from your eCash.

Download Verve World app from the link below to get started.
MW15_ANDR MW15_BBRY MW15_APPL

Login/Registration Process
Open the Verve World installed app, login with an existing Interswitch account if you have an account with Interswitch before and if not, choose Sign UP and fill the necessary detail, add the details of your ATM card on to

Login/Registration Process
Open the Verve World installed app, login with an existing Interswitch account if you have an account with Interswitch before and if not, choose Sign UP and fill the necessary detail, add the details of your ATM card on to the Verve World App and proceed.

After successful registration, you should get this notification and an accompanying email from the Verve International team with “Welcome to Verve eCash” in the subject line.

How to Fund Your Verve eCash
Click the button that says ‘Fund my eCash’. On the next screen, you will be required to enter the amount you want to withdraw.

Even after adding a card to the application, you may have to input your details again in the “Payment Card” option

How to Generate Actual Verve Paycode
After funding the eCash, you will get a notification to that effect. Under every page, there is the eWALLET, 1-TOUCH and PAYCODE options, click on “PAYCODE” to generate.

After selecting PAYCODE, the below page will be displayed.

In selecting a channel, there is the option of ATM, POS or Paypoint Agent. Choose ATM as it is our case study for this post.

In selecting a payment card, choose your already funded Verve eCash or select from the stored Cards.

The cash-out pin is the one you are going to input in the ATM and your card pin is, of course, your personal card pin.

Important Notice
After the last procedure described above, you should be able to use your cashout pin in any ATM unless;
  • You have insufficient balance in your account.
  • You do not have a token– physical or software –and so cannot use the card online.
  • There is not sufficient internet connectivity.
AND;
  • Verve Paycode works for any bank card as long as it’s Verve, Visa or Mastercard
  • Multiple cards can be added to the application
  • Cardless ATM Withdrawals DOES NOT work on every bank’s ATM (that is the machine).
  • The Machine that I know, are: ATMs belonging to Zenith Bank, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank and Fidelity Bank are compatible with the Verve World App and Verve Paycode.
If all the above conditions have been satisfied, then you are good to go.
Now using the ATM is the really tricky part and seems to be where most people are stuck. Most ATMs have the options of cardless operation, to be sure, ask the orderlies around.
Or walk up to any one of them and press the “ENTER” key multiple times. It should display the option.

How to Withdraw from the ATM
GTBank ATM has already been used for the experiment, all you need is to follow the below instruction according.

If you look closely at the display above, it gives the instructions on performing Cardless Transactions; that is, using the ATM to withdraw without ATM card. Even though the instruction makes it easier, some ATMs do not spell it out, so just press the “ENTER” button on the keypad twice, and if it does not still bring out the option, then the machine is probably not configured for Cardless Transactions.

The next screen after pressing the “ENTER” key will be self-explanatory as the tag of your selection will include Quickteller.  The Verve World App, Verve Paycode and Quickteller are all products of Interswitch, so they are in one family.

After selecting the Quickteller option, this screen comes up and prompts you to enter the already generated code, then the ATM proceeds to produce the exact amount of cash that was entered when generating the Verve Paycode on the Verve World. Simple as that.

At a Stanbic IBTC ATM, press zero “0” on the keypad to be taken to a page that has “Quickteller Cashout” written on it and the machine will give a prompt for the already generated Verve Paycode.

Zenith Bank ATMs have the same procedure, but you have to press the enter key to access “Quickteller Cashout” option, and input your Verve Paycode

Note: It includes a N100 surcharge at cashout.

Also Note:
To make every thing simply. You can generate a Paycode by simply dialing *322*8*Amount#. You don't need to have a smartphone or internet access

Payoneer is such a great company helping we Bloggers and online marketers receive funds from Affiliates and companies such as Fiverr, Adsense etc, Letting you send money to payoneer too. To read a Full Detailed post about them, Click HERE

So In this Post, I'll share with you my First experience Using the Payoneer Mastercard.

After I received some Funds on my Payoneer Mastercard, I then Decided to withdraw it using an Automated Teller Machine (ATM).

After Inserting my card and trying to withdraw I was given the Notification of Insufficient funds. Why? I asked myself, we'll mayb I was selecting the wrong Account type I thought.

I then tried 2 more times now selecting Savings and Current type as I Earlier selected Credit account type. Well I never knew the payoneer card was aCURRENT Account Type.

After doing all these, I was finally able to withdraw, but Not the same amount, my Funds had reduced by $5. I left and went home to Access my account through the mobile app and got the screenshot Below.
                                                   I then Analyzed what happened;
  • Payoneer charge a $1 fee when the Mastercard is inserted in an ATM machine. I did this Twice = $2
  • They Charge a $1 fee whenever you check your account Balance... I checked 3 times = $3
 NOTE:
Before Heading to the ATM machine, First check your Total Available Funds using their Mobile App or on their Website. You can Download the App on Google play store HERE

When you insert the Mastercard, just remember that you're short of $1 so be careful
Select 'CURRENT' Account Type, Not 'SAVINGS' or 'CREDIT' (Very Important)

Don't withdraw the Total money from your Account so You wouldn't Get the Insufficient funds Alert.

For Instance, For a $21 fund, you can withdraw just $20.

After withdrawing your Required amount, Quickly eject Your card: Don't try any other services.

Payoneer charge an Annual card Maintenance fee of $29.95 ($30 Approx.)

Payoneer Exchange Rate is N192/$1 so you may re-consider withdrawal

So when you Receive your Fund, you won't make silly Mistake as I did and lose some $$$. Now it's

Time for some comments, ask any questions and get answers. regarding to this article
