Fix for atibtmon.exe Error after Windows 10 update

Oleh bcoded - July 26, 2016

After upgrading to Windows 10, whenever I go from Plugged-In to Battery, I get the Run Time
Error relative to atibtmon.exe. I've read several articles/fixes for this, and have done them all
with no positive results. I also cannot get the ATI Catalysis Control Center to load - but this is another
issue).

Apparently, as I can understand, there isn't a driver available for W10 for a ATI Mobil Radeon
HD 4200 series graphics card. It is NOT a fatal error, just one of those things that I would like to
fix.

Again, I've done all of the Boot Options and such and my graphics driver (according to AMD)
is up-to-date. Found the atibtmon.exe reference in regedit, but probably shouldn't mess with that
until I understand the fixes. Has to do with the Brightness Control when switching over to Battery
as I know.

Here is how I fixed this using your provided link but on windows 10 and still have the screen dim when on battery.
Right click on [charge icon] in taskbar and select "power options"
to the right of the currently selected power plan click on "change plan settings"
Then click "change advanced power settings"
in drop down list select which ever selection has "[Active]" attached to it.
Then scroll to bottom of list where you should find a listing "ATI Graphics Power Settings"
Expand this listing and its inner "ATI PowerPlay Settings" until you see the "On Battery: and Plugged in:" options are shown.
change the "On battery:" option to "Maximum Performance" and click "OK"
This may reset your default screen brightness to %100 on battery but you can manual set to anything lower in the "change plan settings" area and the screen with dim to entered value as it should and without atibtmon.exe error and no more error upon waking from sleep mode, which apparently didn't actually work at all with out this fix.
again this worked on a Compaq cq62 and seems it should work on any other with ATI mobility radeon chipsets

Konga launches e-payment platform ‘Konga Pay’

Oleh bcoded - July 26, 2016
If you shop on top international ecommerce websites such as Amazon and Aliexpress, you might have noticed that they have their own payment system which enables you buy stuff from their website without using debit cards e.g.AliPay. Konga launched its own payment system on April 26, 2016 named KongaPay, It is a secure payment platform which will enable Konga customers pay for goods without using debit or credit cards.
Konga has integrated Konga Pay with the internet banking portals of major banks in Nigeria to make this work, the participating banks are: Access Bank, Diamond Bank, Ecobank, FCMB, Fidelity Bank, First Bank, GTBank, Heritage Bank, Jaiz Bank, Keystone Bank, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Skye Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Sterling Bank, UBA, Union Bank, Unity Bank, Wema Bank and Zenith Bank. When you register for KongaPay, your chosen bank account will be directly linked to your Konga account and the integration works regardless of the fact that your bank account is internet banking enabled or not.
At the launching ceremony, Konga.com’s CEO said “Konga is launching KongaPay payment solution because we want Nigerians and Africans at large to experience the best of service at their convenience. This means we constantly evolve to be more relevant to customers and society.”
Konga has been working on this idea for quite some time and in 2014, Konga allowed a payment feature called GTPay on their site which lets Guaranty Trust Bank customers pay for their items through bank transfer initiated from the Konga.com checkout cart. Konga Pay eliminates the whole bank transfer process and once a customer has it enabled, all he/she needs to do is to click the checkout button after shopping and then enter a one time password and the purchases will be paid for provided the customer has enough money in his/her account.
To register for KongaPay, you need an active Nigerian bank account and a registered phone number. You then set up your account by entering your full name, phone number, bank account details and date of birth and a one-time PIN which will be sent to you to verify your bank details. For every purchase using Konga Pay, your bank will send you a one time code by SMS to the phone number you registered with and that code must be entered before the purchase is completed. There will also be a one-click refund for orders that are cancelled by the seller or the buyer.
Konga is opening the service to non-Konga users also and is pioneering something called me-Commerce which lets you take a photo of any item you want to buy then generates a payment QR code for you which you can take to any participating merchant store and pay offline. You will also be able to share the generated QR code on your social media accounts which will enable payments on Instagram, Facebook, Whatsapp , etc all through KongaPay.
I know you might be asking yourself “Why should I use Konga Pay?” instead of Pay on Delivery or your Debit card. Here are some good reasons:
  • Konga is offering a 5% discount on any item you use KongaPay to purchase.
  • You get an instant refund if your goods do not arrive, are damaged, or are substantially different from what was described.
  • It is secure because all transactions are solely between Konga and your bank, there are no third parties involved.
  • You are in absolute control of all your transactions as every transaction triggers a code directly from your bank.

New Google PlayStore Tools Help Developers Shrink The Size Of App Updates

Oleh bcoded - July 26, 2016

When it comes to mobile data, where customers almost always have a limited pool of access to work with less is more. That's the principle behind the "delta" updates to apps that Google introduced way back in 2012, which in most cases allows the Play Store to download only the incrementally updated parts of an app rather than the entire APK. Now a new tweak to the delta update algorithm has made the updates themselves even smaller.

How much smaller? According to the post on the official Android Developers Blog, two patches to older versions of Chrome for Android resulted in shrinking a major 22.8MB update down to 12.9MB, and a smaller one from 15.3MB down to just 3.6MB. Your mileage may vary,

of course - a few "minor text fixes" (cringe) are going to result in a smaller update than, say, whatever it takes to fix that three footprint bug in Pokémon GO. But in general, developers and end users should be seeing dramatically smaller delta update sizes, and that's good news for anyone on a limited data plan.

The new delta algorithm can also be applied to expansion files, add-ons to the main app that are relatively huge, usually used for the resource files in large and complex mobile games. Google claims that applying this tool to initial downloads shrinks them by 12%, and updates are chopped by an impressive 65%.

Am sure i am not the only one that use to say, '' How I wish there is a way to turn my airtime into cash directly to my bank'' Today Zoranga is here to make our dream come through. Zoranga is now available in Nigeria.

Before now, if someone sends me Airtime which i don't need or wanted to sell in exchange for real money, i'd loose at least 20% of the Airtime. Let me set an example, if I want to sell MTN airtime of N5000, people won't buy it at 5,000, instead they'll be pricing it for 4,500 which is 10% lost.

Now with Zoranga mobile money services you can be able to send and receive money from wherever you are without visiting the bank. With MTN or GLO airtime, you can fund your Zoranga account at anytime from the zoranga.com website. And you can send money in your Zoranga account to any bank account in Nigeria within minutes, pay for goods and services online or save for a goal or project for a specified time.

Don't worry, i will put you through on how to use Zoranga.
What are you waiting for? Join Zoranga today and turn your thinking to reality now.
To get started, simply sign up for a Zoranga account here

Tips On Maintaining Your Smartphones Battery Life

Oleh Stardom - July 26, 2016

Rule No 1: Never Charge your battery overnight: It’s unwise to keep any phone battery plugged in all night. Long charges always put the battery into a high-stress state and contribute to it becoming worn down in the long run. Any attempt to break this rule will kill your battery life.

Rule No 2: Never Charge your battery up to 100%
Stop charging your batteries from 0 to 100 percent in one sitting. This isn't as efficient as you may think. Instead, keep your battery life somewhere between 40 percent and 80 percent. This ensures you'll have enough juice when you need it, but keeps from overheating which can result in a shorter lifespan.

Rule No 3: Charge in short bursts
According to battery university, Don’t let your smartphone battery run all the way down to 1%before you boost it’s charge all the way back up to 100%. Charging any lithium phone battery for a long time can wear it out, meaning you’re best off plugging it in for a few short bursts rather than a long stint.

Rule No 4: Never break rule no 1 & 2
If you break rule no 1 and 2, then your battery is closer to a dead end… an example of a dead end battery is the unconditional swelling of phone battery like a forgotten wedding balloon.

If you break the rule, then get ready to face the consequences.
