Major Problems Nigerians Face With Adsense:

Hello, Nigerians lets discuss google AdSenseand how it has affected Nigerians over the years. I got the inspiration to write this post from a seminar I went attended to recently in which a Nigerian, frustrated one as you can guess publicly criticized google Adsense and their corrupt practices meted towards Nigeria. In this post, we will see how Nigerians feel about making money with google Adsense and also hear stories from people based on what hey have to say over the years about Adsense.

We all knows what AdSense means. A means by which google pays publishers to put up adverts on their site. Adsense is simply part of a gigantic ad network owned by google, the other part of the network being AdWords. For reasons unknown to me, google has decided to separate google ad words from google Adsense but that's not the topic of today.

As an AdSense user and a Nigerian who have over the years observed the going of Adsense in my country.
The different stages involved in Adsense and how they kick people around like a football am writing this post with a little bit of annoyance but that doesn't get in the way of what I will be sharing here because they are all 100% real. I will look at the various stages one has to pass through in order to get Adsense, how someone actually earns after all this and finally the most common thing about these guys: BAN.

Stages of Adsense in Nigeria; where AdSense got it all wrong
1. First Adsense problem: Getting an AdSense account in nigeria

Trust me, getting an Adsense account as a Nigerian is just like marrying an Owerri girl! It's never a one-way thing except for those that just manages to get Adsense as though its dropped from the moon. What do I mean by this?

Adsense is fond of frustrating the life of bloggers in the name of approval. I have nothing against their review because quality blogs are meant to be rewarded for their hard work but the process involved in this is exhausting. There are a thousand and one tips online for people to get Adsense account but even if you join them all, there is always something missing as AdSense will usually send the "account declined" message to you. Here in Nigeria, I have seen bloggers who have set up blogs just for the sole purpose of getting Adsense account, humbly following all their funny rules from A-Z and ended up getting the same denial message.

Acquiring Adsense account in Nigeria is so difficult that you find out there are market places just for selling Adsense almost everywhere now, Offline, Online, etc. And these accounts are sold for several hundreds of dollars. I have seen someone who placed a price tag of 100,000 naira [$500] on a single Adsense.
I have seen another sell an AdSense account for 50,000 naira [$250]. This may be wrong but what other choices does Adsense leave people with? Surely not everyone with a great site design and content is willing to through AdSense's hectic drilling process.

Before you get it wrong, Am not saying that Adsense should approve accounts that are under their requirements. Am saying they should not be wasting the time of those that have already met their requirements and give them access to start earning. In all, I will like to say that this is not the case with every country such as their own country of origin, The Almighty USA where everything is so cheap and free. US applicants are clearly favored in everything, from approval to earning except the taxes they pay during withdrawal but of course the tax means nothing when CPC is skyrocketing to mars.Even Nigerians that apply for Adsense using US Adsense get quick approval in support of the above claim.

Final words: Adsense, you have to loosen up a bit, Approve sites that are worth it and continue to frustrate those that are only interested in spaming the web with copy but never mix them up as you are clearly fond of!
